The full receiving frequency range is 30 to 470 MHz, although some frequencies are excluded.
The external dimensions are 58 mm (width) x 110 mm (height) x 32.5 mm (depth), and the weight, including antenna and battery pack, is +/- 260 gr.

  • VHF/UHF coverage from 30 to 470 MHz with almost constant sensitivity.
  • The built-in GPS receiver allows you to search and scan the nearest channel based on the latitude/longitude data stored in memory.
  • 999 channels , 50 programs for searches, 26 banks, all equipped with a naming function that can contain up to 14 characters in full width (28 characters in half width).
  • Offset function.
  • Analog AM and FM signals are processed by DSP to ensure clear reception.
  • Analog subtones include CTCSS (including inverted), DCS (including inverted) and JR/MSK blank line suppression.
  • FM radio mode to listen to the radio while continuing to receive in VHF/UHF.
  • USB Type-C port for charging, external power supply and connection with a PC via a standard accessory cable.
  • Clear audio output thanks to a large diameter speaker and BTL amplifier. Stereo headphones can be used (mono reception), and the use of the popular earphone antenna is also supported.
  • In addition to the included lithium-ion battery, three AA batteries can be used with the optional adapter to ensure reliable reception over extended periods in the field.
  • The display is a TFT color screen , with a design inspired by the measuring instruments and glass cockpit of an airplane. However, to improve visibility, only a monochrome display is used. (The color of the background and fonts can be changed freely, without impacting battery consumption.)
  • Keyboard : A flat, sturdy membrane-type keyboard that is easy to use.
  • Intuitive and modern user interface , with structured menus for simplified use.
  • A wide range of optional accessories , such as a quick charger on stand, AA battery compartment and protective cover, are also available.

Analog FM signals in the VHF/UHF bands, which can be received by standard analog handheld radios, can also be received by this device.

  • NFM (12.5 kHz step) for international VHF maritime communications
  • Specific low power radio communications
  • Simplex operation in UHF, etc.
  • FM (20 kHz step) for AM/FM modes on amateur bands 50/144/430 MHz, simplex operations on VHF, etc.

Data :

  • Position data display : Whether the signal is analog or digital, if the corresponding position data is received and decoded, the text information is automatically displayed. The position information appears as symbols on the preset "position display" screen, including direction and other information.
  • Position data, such as that of a ship, is displayed as symbols, including direction.
  • A 12 kHz IF output (W/N compatible) is available for use with third-party receiving software.

The following types of communications cannot be received by this device . There is no possibility to enable their reception:

  • Police, fire and rescue services (TETRA POL)
  • Self-Defense Forces, Japan Coast Guard and other public safety services
  • Mobile phones, digital cordless phones
  • Civil Protection Administration
  • Digitalized power grids, highways, JR lines, Shinkansen, private railways
  • MCA, airport communications
  • Low Power Digital Modes
  • VW mode of C4FM, Alinco EJ-47U and RALCWI
  • APCO25, TETRA and other foreign standards such as TETRA or encrypted radio services in general
